Following two rewarding seasons as a right-handed pitcher at Bryant University, where I consistently achieved Dean's List recognition and was honored with America East All-Conference Rookie Team accolades, I am seeking a new program to continue my personal, athletic and academic growth. With two years of eligibility remaining, I am eager to find a supportive and competitive environment where I can contribute on and off the field. Looking for development & growth opportunities as a student & an athlete.
I am a Dean's list student who is majoring in Business with an emphasis in marketing. I would like to get my master's in either Business or Occupational Therapy. In high school I was a 4 year scholar athlete in both softball and basketball.
I grew up playing softball, soccer, basketball and volleyball. Playing AAU Adidas Gold Gauntlet basketball & competing across the US until my Senior year of high school.
I am the middle daughter of Scott & Annie McKillop. My mom played Ice Hockey for U of M and my Dad ran track. Collegiate Athletics have always been a part of our family, with my grandmother and 3 great aunts playing field hockey for Michigan Universities. When I am home in Washington for the summer and not training or working I love spending time with my family, friends & our dog, Louise.
I have trained with Curtis Clay training since I was 12 years old for strength and conditioning. My pitching instructor since I was 8 years old is Eve Gaw Buck & Erika Menninger. When I am not pitching, fielding or doing strength & conditioning I really enjoy pilates, Orange Theory & hiking.
Giving back to the game that has given me so much is really important to me. I volunteer and work at summer softball camps & little league events. I was a special education peer tutor for multiple years in high school and continue that work as a para professional and 1:1 helper for kids with special needs in the summer for our local school district. I am incredibly passionate about this work.
Playing for the California Suncats, NW Bullets & AI Bandits really taught me who I wanted to be as a player , a teammate, and person. Flying down to California to play for Suncats from 8th grade to junior year really pushed me to be fiercely dedicated, organized and grateful for the tremendous opportunity I was given. I love my family, friends and teammates and will always go above and beyond for them. I strive to make them and myself proud.
